The Ibuka focuses on assessing a company’s investor readiness and providing pre- and post-investment capacity building, ensuring that each company receives the right level of support at every stage.
Diagnostics
We work with credible aggregation partners including industry associations, government, acceleration and incubation hubs to develop a pipeline of high-quality SMEs
Remediation
High quality SMEs across agriculture, manufacturing, renewable energy, fintech and retail sectors are accelerated towards funding creating a solid pipeline of investment opportunities for discerning investors
Funding
Retail and Institutional investors, DFIs, Grant providers, Guarantors, Banks provide a wide array of financing opportunities enhancing access to funding for bankable SMEs
Eligibility Criteria
CEO/Founder of a for-profit business with revenue between Ksh 100 million – Kes 5 billion
Have a management team of at least three people in addition to the CEO or founder
Primary operations based in Kenya
Companies within Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Technology, Manufacturing and Retails sectors are highly encouraged to apply.
